All things British and Olympics are the rage around here. Both girls have decided to save their money so someday they can see the Olympics in real life. Although as Shelby says we have to wait for the little kids in our family grow up before we go someplace as big as the Olympics.
So far we've had London artwork on our chalkboard...
and a British flavor to the math book page (that's Stonehenge in case you couldn't tell)...
We've also enjoyed many different sports.
First up was synchronized diving. I think they may be losing points in the synchronization category.
Also swimming, with the revolutionary home-like feel to the aquatic center which is meant to put the athletes at ease.
Sprinting also takes place here. These runners are most noted for their unusual attire which includes sun dresses and church shoes. On interviewing them they said they want to be ladies even on the track.
Of course gymnastics is a big favorite in these games or shall I say gym and nastics as it's called by some.
And the judges have concluded that this contestant wins gold in the jr. all around cuteness competition.
